How I Began Valuing My Work
People sometimes ask me how I price my paintings. I could talk about square inches or materials, but the truth is it’s not just about that.
What you’re seeing now, this version of my work, was ten years in the making. It carries the weight of late nights, rejected submissions, and the long stretches of time when I almost gave up. It’s layered with study, with courage, and with a thousand decisions you’ll never see in the final stroke.
I’ve exhibited in group shows, stood with my work in gallery spaces, and witnessed the emotional impact my paintings have on those who connect with them. And with every step, I’ve grown more certain: my work is valuable because I am committed to it. Because I keep showing up. Because it continues to grow alongside me.
My paintings are not decorations. They are reflections of transformation, of truth, of what it means to keep creating in a world that doesn’t always understand the creative path.
So when you collect one, you’re not just buying a piece of canvas. You’re investing in all of that. In the vision, the bravery, the unfolding.
