Before Complete Darkness
Before Complete Darkness, 2023, 20”x20”
The pinks have grown darker and the shadows longer. We have sat all evening in the sun, enjoyed the colorful show as the sun said its goodbye, and now the night begins to wrap around the scenery.
I feel the call of a warm comforter, fluffy pillows, and an arm around my waist pulling me close. Held through the night in that feeling of safety and love.
