Meandering
Meandering, 2023, 20”x20”
Taking it all in. The way my legs feel as I climb the hills, the smell of the grasses and country flowers, the warmth of the sun on my back.
I have wondered how meandering and wandering were different. In my head, meandering may include a destination but I have all the time in the world to get there. I can be present in the journey. I can notice the details of the path. I can walk in twisted lines or stop and sit for a moment. Unhurried. At ease. With lots of time for laughter and kissing and holding hands.
*note - Colors may vary due to the variation in absorption into the wood panel.
