Sovereignty and Silence
Sovereignty and Silence, 2022, 12”x16”
I alone chose my path. When I sit in the quiet stillness of meditation the way becomes clearer, surer, more limitless, and more defined. So I go back to that space, where my inner knowing speaks in louder volumes.
Solitude is not always lonely. Silence does not always signify anger. I have learned that taking time to hear my thoughts guides me in ways a hundred conversations could not. Deciding to trust myself above society’s noise is often challenging but practice leads to progress.
