When this painting was first created, it was for the Old Brewery Mission’s cafeteria—a space that offered nourishment and protection for those in need. The intention then was the same as it is now: to bring peace, to hold space for the weary, and to remind each person that they are supported. Its calm tones and layered composition carry a steadying presence, inviting every viewer to breathe and feel restored.
