COLLECTED

24”x30” Acrylic on Stretch Canvas

This painting has been collected. For available works in this series, click here to explore the full collection.

The Wild Collection emerged as a response to the profound impact of emotions. During a retreat in the woods near Boston, alongside 85 women, we unleashed our screams, tears, and rediscovered the power and resilience we had neglected for too long.

For years, I suppressed my sadness and never fully acknowledged the depth of my anger. Nearly ten years ago, as I started painting, those long-buried emotions started to resurface. This collection symbolizes the liberation of my emotions, embracing feelings of frustration, confusion, rage, and desperation. Rather than conceal them, I now channel the energy of these emotions to propel myself forward on this journey. The movement, layers, and colors in these pieces reflect an internal intensity, revealing the profound richness and complexity of our deeply felt emotions.

Beautiful painting, vibrant colors, perfect piece and sentiment for these times. Love it! Very quick response and delivery. Margaret was a pleasure to deal with. Extremely happy with my experience. - Heather
