Borders Not Limits

There is a moment when the pieces come together and the puzzle begins to take shape. The picture, the concept, the idea pulls itself into existence and we see something that was there all along but our minds could not yet connect. These lines and shapes transmute into an understanding, a truth, a recognition.

We take many paths during our lives.  We live inside various roles, sometimes for a moment and other time for decades. But each of these stops connects us to the next, it builds us into a whole, it creates space for our purpose to come through. If you remove the cage of difficult moments you lose the opportunity to break free. If you settle to deeply into the mundane you forget the expansive choices available in the chaos. We try so hard to stay safe that we forget we are extraordinary. How wonderful to be able to look back and know that each step we took made perfect sense. Each turn brought us to this moment, a moment of choice, a moment of possibility.

This what I have come to see in my collection Borders Not Limits. A mosaic of the lives we live. The perfection of the choices we have made and the people we have been. We have no limits in this life if we can remember that we are extraordinary.
