The unexpected shift of yellow to green when the slightest touch of black is added, reminds me that we can never know everything. I love that painting allows for so much discovery, that curiosity is rewarded with another question to unravel. There is a wonderful path that I am drawn down as an artist and I know that, even if I touch where another has landed, I will be pulled onward on the road that is only mine.
