The Peace Within

I have gone through times of wanting to be saved, wanting to be seen, wanting direction, wanting to feel like I belong. Each of those external longings ate away at how I was experiencing my every day. Each felt like something I had been chosen to be recieve, gifted by some outside entity or power. But I was somehow never chosen.
“You bring your sense of belonging with you” - Victoria Washington
When I heard her speak those words everything shattered. I choose to bring not only belonging, but direction, peace, and trust. When I can see myself, I am seen by others. It is all within me.
